help & faq
how tickets, fees and your money work. still stuck? message us at the bottom.
the basics
what is yolo?
yolo chains 2 to 10 predictions on Polymarket into one ticket. your amount buys leg 1. when it hits, what it made rolls into leg 2, then leg 3, and so on.
if every leg hits, the ticket has landed. one miss ends it. while it rides you can cash out.
how is a ticket different from Polymarket's combos?
a combo fixes every leg's price when you buy and settles once, at the end. a ticket on yolo only buys leg 1 now. each later leg is bought at its live price at the moment the one before hits.
that's why you can cash out between legs, and why the multiplier stays an estimate until the ticket closes.
do I need to keep the app open?
no. with autotrading on, yolo sells, rolls and buys for your tickets around the clock, app open or not. check my tickets to see where each one is.
what can a ticket be made of?
markets listed on Polymarket: football and other sports, and crypto rounds that start every 5 minutes. the legs have to settle in order, each one no earlier than the one before, so each leg's money has somewhere to go. football matches need 2¼ hours between kick-offs.
buying a ticket
how much does a ticket cost?
any whole-dollar amount from $1 up to the limit shown when you buy. fees are added on top, and the buy button shows the total, e.g. buy ticket · $5.05 (inc. fees).
$1 is Polymarket's smallest buy, so an amount that drops under $1 once fees are set aside can't be bought.
what fees do I pay?
two, always shown as separate lines:
- Polymarket fee
- the cost of trading on Polymarket at all. it goes to Polymarket.
- yolo fee
- what yolo charges for building, rolling and watching your ticket.
every roll is a new order and cashing out is a sale, so both fees apply on each leg your ticket rides, not just the first. every fee is shown before it's charged.
what does “est. 8.6×” mean?
it's what your amount could become if every leg hits, at today's prices, with fees counted. it's an estimate because later legs are bought at whatever they cost when the one before hits.
a price like 58¢ isn't a forecast from yolo. it only shows what traders on Polymarket think right now.
can I make my own ticket?
yes, from create. add 2 to 10 legs in the order they settle, choose your amount, and buy. if two legs clash (say, a match that kicks off before the one before it can finish), create tells you which and why.
who makes the auto-generated tickets?
yolo builds them automatically, by fixed rules from public market data: styles like "favourites", "mid-range" and "wildcards". they're not tips or advice.
it said “the price moved” and nothing was bought
leg 1 got more expensive between pricing the ticket and buying it, past the most this ticket would pay per share. we don't buy at a worse price than you saw, so nothing was charged. look at the new price and buy again if you still want it.
it says my amount is more than my cash
the total, fees included, has to fit in your own cash. add funds, or pick a smaller amount. ticket money only pays when you choose it at checkout, and held earnings never buy tickets.
rolling and cashing out
what happens when a leg hits?
when the leg you hold reaches the roll price (95¢ unless you change it), yolo sells it and buys the next leg with what it made.
if the market resolves before the price gets there, the payout rolls on once Polymarket confirms it. on the last leg, reaching the roll price sells it and the ticket lands, "locked in at 95¢".
can I change how my ticket rolls?
yes, per ticket, from the gear on a riding ticket:
- hits and rolls at
- the price a leg that hits is sold at, 80¢ to 99¢. pick 99¢ to hold the last leg for nearly the full dollar.
- each hit rolls
- how much of each hit goes into the next leg, 10% to 100%. the rest goes to your cash straight away.
- rolling can slip up to
- how far above its quoted price the next leg may be bought, 1% to 25%. higher means a roll is less likely to be refused when prices jump.
under advanced settings you can sell and roll early once a leg is up a set amount, or stop losses and cash out once it's down a set amount. both are off by default. the early sell doesn't apply to the last leg. tickets bought with a voucher or ticket money always roll 100%.
what is “roll now”?
it sells the leg you hold at the market price right away and buys the next one, instead of waiting for the roll price. it isn't offered:
- on the last leg
- while a leg is settling
- when the next leg's match kicked off more than 10 minutes ago
- when what would roll on is under $1 after fees (cash out instead)
can I cash out early?
yes, while a ticket is riding. yolo sells the leg you hold to whoever's buying, and the money goes to your cash. worth now shows roughly what you'd get. cashing out ends the ticket.
it needs autotrading on, and it pauses while a crypto leg or your last leg is settling. to move money out of yolo, see withdrawing.
what does “settling” mean?
the leg's event is over but Polymarket hasn't confirmed the result yet. for a crypto round that's usually about a minute; for a match, usually 15 to 30 minutes after full time.
meanwhile we show an early read (looks like a win looks like a miss too close to call). it's only a read: the result is Polymarket's call. the ticket rolls or closes as soon as it's confirmed, and you can close the app.
autotrading
what is autotrading?
your permission for yolo to buy, roll and sell for your tickets. it runs on a trading key on your Polymarket account, with:
- a spend limit
- across all your tickets: $50, $100, $250, $500 or unlimited. $500 to start.
- a number of days
- 7, 30, 90 or 180. it stops on its own after that.
the key can trade and nothing else. it can never withdraw or send money. you set it up once, when you join, and manage it under account → autotrading.
can I use yolo without autotrading?
not really. every buy, roll and cash-out on your ticket is an order placed with the trading key. without it yolo can't buy a ticket, can't roll a leg that hits, and can't cash out for you.
results still arrive without it: Polymarket pays out shares on the outcome that happened into your account either way.
what counts against my spend limit?
- counts
- every buy, fees included: leg 1 from your own cash, and the whole amount of every roll, including what earlier legs made.
- doesn't count
- sales, cash-outs and payouts; leg 1 of a ticket paid with a voucher or ticket money; an order that didn't fill.
raising the limit keeps what's already been spent. renewing autotrading starts a new key at $0.
what happens if my limit runs out mid-ticket?
we tell you before it does: at half used, at 80%, and when what's left may not cover a ticket's next roll ("your limit may not cover the next leg"). raise it from the banner, with no signature.
if a leg hits and the roll needs more than is left, the leg is still sold, the money stays in your cash, and the ticket ends as cashed out on leg N. it doesn't wait for you to raise the limit.
what happens when autotrading ends?
you'll see "autotrading ends in N days" 14, 7, 3 and 1 days before. once it has ended, on your riding tickets:
- a leg that hits waits instead of rolling. renew and it rolls on, if the price is still at the roll price.
- stop loss and early sells don't fire, and you can't cash out in yolo.
- results still arrive: a last leg that hits pays into your cash, and a missed leg ends the ticket.
- if an earlier leg's result comes in while it waits, the payout goes to your cash and the ticket ends cashed out, because the next leg can't be bought.
renew from the banner or account → autotrading. it takes one signature and your tickets roll on from where they stopped.
it says a ticket will outlast autotrading
the ticket's last legs settle after the day your autotrading ends, so they couldn't roll. tap extend autotrading at checkout: it chooses the shortest number of days that covers the ticket, with no signature.
extending restarts the count from today, but a key can't run past 180 days from when you allowed it. after that, renew.
what happens if I turn autotrading off?
the trading key is removed from your Polymarket account straight away. your riding tickets then behave as if autotrading had ended: legs that hit wait, you can't cash out in yolo, and results still pay into your account. your shares stay in your Polymarket account in your name.
to buy, roll or cash out again, switch it back on.
autotrading says it ended, but I didn't change anything
this happens when your days ran out, or when your trading key stops working on our side, for example after a security reset. either way nothing has left your account. renew it and your tickets roll on.
can I use autotrading alongside other Polymarket apps?
a Polymarket account holds one trading key at a time, so allowing yolo's replaces any other app's key, and another app's replaces yolo's. if that happens, renew in yolo.
to link a different Polymarket account to yolo, turn autotrading off first. you can't switch while you have ticket money or held earnings.
it says my Polymarket account “can't autotrade yet”
Polymarket only lets apps trade for accounts opened since May 2026. you can move your cash into a new account in your name (two signatures; your existing positions stay where they are), or start fresh with the same wallet.
switching autotrading on didn't work
nothing was charged and your money hasn't moved. Polygon can take a moment to show the permission, so try again in a minute. if it keeps failing, message us.
when a ticket doesn't go to plan
my ticket says “didn't go through”
leg 1 couldn't be bought at the price this ticket allowed, usually because the price moved or nobody was selling. nothing was bought and nothing was charged. your money is back where it was.
a leg hit, but my ticket says “cashed out”
the leg was sold, but the next leg couldn't be bought, so yolo kept the money in your cash and ended the ticket. the reasons:
- the next leg's price jumped past what "rolling can slip up to" allows
- nobody was selling the next leg, or its market had closed
- the next leg's match kicked off more than 10 minutes earlier
- your autotrading limit couldn't cover the roll, or autotrading had ended
- the money from the leg that hit hadn't reached your account in time to buy the next one
- the roll came to under $1 after fees ("too small to roll")
for crypto rounds yolo keeps trying until 15 seconds after the round opens. other legs get one try. a higher slip setting makes refusals less likely.
my ticket has said “rolling into leg N…” for a while
the leg is sold and yolo is still trying to buy the next one, which happens with crypto rounds that open in a few seconds. it either buys it or, once the round has been open 15 seconds, keeps the money as cash. if it's been more than a few minutes, message us with the ticket's reference.
the result is taking longer than usual
the result is Polymarket's call, and some matches take hours to confirm. nothing times out, and waiting costs you nothing: the ticket rolls or closes as soon as Polymarket confirms. selling is paused on a final or crypto leg until then.
why can't I cash out right now?
- "paused while it settles": a crypto leg or your last leg has ended and its result is coming in.
- autotrading is off or ended: switch it back on.
- "couldn't sell this leg": nobody is buying right now, so nothing was sold and your ticket keeps riding. try again, or let it ride to its result.
- "too small to sell": Polymarket takes no market order under $1, and no limit order under 5 shares. a leg worth under $1 is sold with a limit at the bid instead (the ticket reads "selling…" until it fills); one that is also under 5 shares can't be sold at all, so it's held to its result and pays out from there.
- "try again in a moment": yolo was in the middle of a step on this ticket.
- your region: from a sanctioned country, cash-outs are off.
I cashed out for less than “worth now”
worth now uses the best buyer's price. a cash-out sells all your shares at once, so on a quiet market part of it can fill at lower prices further down. fees come off as well.
if buyers run out before all of it sells, you'll see "only part of it sold": the part sold is in your cash and the rest keeps riding until you cash out again.
my stop loss sold lower than I set
a stop loss sells at the first price yolo sees under your stop. prices are checked about once a minute, every few seconds in a crypto round, so a price that drops fast can be well under the stop by then.
for the same reason, a price that touches your roll price and falls back between checks won't trigger a roll.
what if a match is postponed or moved?
if the leg you hold moves, yolo follows the new kick-off and the ticket keeps riding until then. you may see "settling" briefly while it catches up.
if a later leg moves, the ticket might not be able to roll into it on time, and would keep the money as cash.
what if a market is cancelled or resolves 50-50?
sometimes Polymarket can't call a market and resolves it 50-50, paying about half of what a share pays on a hit. a 50-50 isn't a hit, so yolo doesn't roll it on. the payout goes to your cash and the ticket ends as cashed out on leg N · resolved 50-50.
what if a result is disputed or changed?
yolo waits for Polymarket to confirm a match result before it rolls or pays out. once it's confirmed, yolo treats it as final. if Polymarket changes a result after that, tickets that already rolled or paid out on it aren't changed.
the market for my leg disappeared
if a market stops trading while you hold it, there's nothing to sell to, so the ticket waits for Polymarket to pay out the result, then rolls or closes.
why does my ticket say “too small to roll”?
Polymarket's smallest buy is $1. if a hit came to less than that after fees, there's nothing to buy with it, so the money goes to your cash and the ticket ends as cashed out.
it says a ticket can't be bought any more
a ticket can be copied until its second-to-last leg starts. after that, or once one of its markets stops trading or a match moves so the legs no longer settle in order, it's closed. pick a fresh one from discover.

results
what do landed, missed and cashed out mean?
- landed
- every leg hit, or the last leg was sold at your roll price. the payout is in your cash.
- missed leg 3
- leg 3 didn't happen, so the ticket is over and what it had rolled is gone.
- cashed out on leg 2
- you cashed out, the next leg couldn't be bought and yolo kept the money, or the leg resolved 50-50.
- stopped out on leg 2
- your stop loss sold the leg.
- didn't go through
- leg 1 never filled, so nothing was bought or charged.
what is a five-minute ride, and what does a quiet one cost?
a five-minute ride is a ticket of one leg on a live football match. you pick what happens in the next five minutes — a goal, or one side scoring — and yolo buys the Polymarket share that moves most if it does: the Over on the next goals line, or that side's win share. five minutes after the buy it sells the share at the going price, or sooner if the price reaches the take-profit level (about half of what a goal usually does to that share, unless you change it: on 90 matches' worth of goals, a goal reached that level nineteen times in twenty, and twice what you paid about one time in four). then it's over, and the money is in your cash.
- took profit at 79¢
- a goal moved the share to the take-profit price and it was sold there, before the five minutes were up.
- ended · sold at 5:00
- no goal. the share was sold at the bid when the window ran out, whatever the bid was.
- stopped
- your stop loss sold it (off unless you turn it on).
what a quiet five minutes costs. a share bought at the ask and sold at the bid loses the spread, and both fees are paid twice, once on the buy and once on the sale. the sheet shows that figure from the live book before you buy ("a quiet five minutes costs about −$0.36"). on the Over it is about 1% early in a match and 10–15% late in one, when the Over itself is losing value with every goalless minute. that is the price of the five-minute shape, and it is the number to accept before you buy.
why the board says "goal?" before "GOAL". the price moves first: a goal reprices the share in seconds, and the bar floods the scorer's colour the moment the bid jumps. Polymarket's score follows thirty seconds to a few minutes later, so the board asks until the score confirms, then says "GOAL · Como · 90'". a sale can happen in between, at the new price.
why a ride can run past the whistle. no window may start after 40' or 85', so a ride never straddles the break or the end on the clock, but a long stoppage can carry the whistle inside a window. if the match ends while you hold the share, Polymarket's book closes and the leg settles with the match like any football leg: a dollar a share if your pick happened, nothing if not, usually within half an hour.
can a ticket cost more than I paid?
no. the most a ticket can cost you is what you paid for it, fees included. a missed leg ends the ticket; it never draws more from your cash.
your money
where is my money held?
in a Polymarket account in your name, as pUSD, a dollar-backed balance. yolo's trading key can buy and sell for your tickets. it can't move money out of your account.
why do I see different balances?
- top of the screen
- what can buy a ticket: your cash, ticket money included.
- total balance
- everything: cash, money in open tickets, held earnings and copy earnings on the way.
- withdrawable
- cash, minus ticket money and held earnings.
how do I add money?
from account → add funds:
- card
- Apple Pay, Google Pay or a card, $1 to $10,000. it lands a minute or two after the payment goes through. if nothing opens, allow pop-ups for yolo.
- send USDC
- to the address shown, on Polygon, Base, Arbitrum, Optimism or Ethereum. minimum $2, or $3 from Ethereum.
money on its way shows as "+ $X on its way" on your account.
my deposit hasn't arrived
card payments usually land within a few minutes, and transfers once the network confirms them. if it's been longer than 30 minutes, message us with the amount, the time and, for a transfer, the network and transaction link.
send only USDC, only on the networks listed, and at least the minimum. anything else might not be credited.
how do I withdraw?
from account → withdraw:
- to a wallet or exchange
- on Base, Polygon, Arbitrum or Solana (minimum $2) or Ethereum ($3). usually arrives in minutes. a small network fee comes off, shown before you send.
- to your bank
- with MoonPay, 1 to 3 business days, where it's offered.
money in open tickets comes out when they close, or when you cash out.
I withdrew to the wrong address
transfers to a wallet are final, and nobody can reverse them, us included. yolo checks the address's format, not who owns it, so always check the address and network before you confirm.
my withdrawal says it's stuck
the bridge that converts your cash for the chosen network couldn't finish it. message us with the address you sent to and we'll sort it out.
if it says the bridge hasn't received it, yolo closed before sending, and nothing left your account.
what are vouchers and ticket money?
a voucher is one ticket yolo pays for, usually $1 with leg 1's fees covered. a code works once and has to be used within 7 days; a voucher lasts 30 days after that.
ticket money is voucher money that isn't in a ticket yet. it's part of your cash, but it only buys tickets and can't be withdrawn. held earnings are what a voucher ticket made after leg 1 hit, held until you finish the short feedback form. after the form they're your cash, and there's another $1 ticket on us.
my voucher code doesn't work
- "that code has expired": codes last 7 days. ask for a fresh one.
- "someone already used that code": each code works once.
- "finish the quick feedback form first": vouchers and ticket money pause until it's done. your own money still buys.
- "vouchers are paused while we top them up": your voucher is safe; try later.
vouchers need autotrading on.
copying and sharing
what happens when I copy a ticket?
you buy your own ticket with the same legs, at today's prices. you don't join or share the other person's ticket, and your result can differ from theirs.
if the ticket is already under way, copy the rest takes only the legs that haven't started. copying closes when the second-to-last leg starts.
what do I earn when people copy my ticket?
half of yolo's fee on every copy of a ticket you built. if someone rides a yolo pick from your share link, that counts too. copies from your own accounts don't. only straight from the link, though: a yolo pick bought from your profile, or after the buyer moves on to other tickets, earns nobody. it shows on your account as copy earnings. paid into your cash once automatic payouts start; until then it's kept and carries over. it goes to the Polymarket account you connected to yolo. an unusually large payout waits for a quick check by the team first, and earnings from misuse can be withheld (terms, 10.4). if you close your account, copy earnings not yet paid into your cash are forfeited, and copies of your tickets stop earning for you. Polymarket's fee isn't shared; it goes to Polymarket.
who can see my tickets?
you decide, under account: "new tickets are public" puts your tickets in other people's feeds, and "show $ amounts" decides whether your dollar figures appear on them.
access and your account
who can use yolo?
people aged 21 and over, in places where yolo is available. where it isn't, you can't buy tickets, connect an account or switch autotrading on. you can still cash out, withdraw, lower your limit and turn autotrading off.
in Malta, crypto tickets are available and sports tickets aren't.
what happens to my tickets if I travel?
tickets you already have keep rolling with autotrading, wherever you are. from a place where yolo isn't available you can't buy new ones or renew autotrading, so a ticket that outlasts your autotrading would wait until you're back.
a VPN or a work network can make you look like you're somewhere else. turn it off and reload. using a VPN to get round this breaks the terms.
do I need an invite?
for now, yes. join the waitlist with your email, or enter a code from a friend who's already in.
it asked me to sign in again
your session ended before an action finished. nothing was charged. sign in and try once more.
how do I get my data or delete my account?
from account → your data. deleting needs your tickets closed, so if any are still riding, yolo lists them with what they're worth now and, once you confirm, cashes them all out at the going price before deleting. your wallet and Polymarket account aren't deleted, so your cash, including what those cash-outs return, stays there. to move it with yolo, cash out and withdraw before you delete.
still stuck?
message yolo and a person will reply. if it's about a ticket, a deposit or a withdrawal, include its reference, like YOLO-7K2M, from the ticket or your activity.
